Sundays are my reset day.
I wake up intending to make the entire day about getting ready for the week.
I do yoga to help stretch and reset mainly my hips and back after a long week.
I make a to-do list for the week, then divide it up through the week based on priority. Each day gets one major task that MUST be done THAT day.
I write in what workout I’m doing every day and stack it in the Peloton app or write it in my calendar. If I don’t, I’ll find some excuse and it won’t get done.
I make a meal plan for Monday through Friday that includes Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. (Actually Monday through Friday at lunch, because after then, my job is done and everybody is on their own)
I order groceries for pickup while watching Church Live online. ( Don’t judge me for multitasking. The Lord knows my heart.)
I start the mountain of laundry usually waiting for me.
I clean the kitchen. ( AGAIN)
I pick one area of the house to clean. Usually bathrooms. Almost always bathrooms. Or..the kitchen.
I pick up the groceries, put them up…
Then I think about what’s left on my to-do list for the rest of the day and usually end up curled up with a book….
BUT IT WORKS FOR ME!!
So yes, I only got one thing on my to-do list done yesterday. I *ate the frog you might say. The other things didn’t get done, but I just moved them further down in the week.
But even though I don’t get everything I want done, I’ve learned it’s ok. It’s taken me most of my life to be able to say that but really. It will get done eventually.
( If you want my full Sunday Reset routine, check out this blog post on How to Create Your Own. It’s even got a free checklist!)
*Eat the Frog refers to this book of the same name.

The April Photo a Day Challenge is back starting Next Monday. I’m excited because I failed spectacularly in my 365 project.
Today is the last day of Amazon’s Spring Sale. There are a lot of dresses on sale, but since I’m in the process of buying only staple pieces that can be worn with many outfits, I got these camel sandals from the Drop. I love them. Simple and they will go with everything.
This amazing article about The Brutality of Sugar: Debt, Child Marriage and Hysterectomies from the New York Times this week. It’s long but worth reading. (this is a gift article)
I started James By Percival Everett and it is so good. It’s…lyrical almost. I’ve made it my bedtime reading so that I read it slowly. I kind of want to savor it.
I started watching The Gentleman on Netflix and it is so unhinged but hilarious that I just love it. It reminds me of that show Weeds that used to be on? But with Theo James staring as the eye candy. I haven’t watched the whole thing since I can’t binge watch anymore, but I’m happy I’ve found another show to catch up with on on the Weekend.
Ok friends, that’s not all, but that’s all I have this week.
Talk later.

Oh my dear God, those poor people in India... worse than I ever could have imagined, and I feel like I am betraying them by drinking my diet Dr. Pepper. I can pray... but somehow, someone must make a change there. It's dreadful. Thank you for opening our eyes.
