Happy March!
February ran up out of here like she had someplace to go!
IG served me a bunch of photos and videos from last year this time. I had just run the Disney Princess 10K and my knee felt like it was just a temporary thing and I was planning on doing a run..which of course led to the complete and utter failure of said knee.
It has taken a WHOLE YEAR for me to be able to walk without pain in every step. And it’s still not 100%. I don’t know if I’ll ever run again, but I’m thankful for progress in the form of walking on my walking pad 5 days a week.
Anyhoo! I thought I’d start the month off sharing what I’m currently up to..
So….I am currently…
Feeling
Optimistic. Spring is coming and daylight savings is coming to an end this weekend.
My body never adjusted, so my internal clock still wakes up around 3 am every morning. It will be good to just wake up and not toss and turn for another couple of hours only to fall right back asleep right before my alarm goes off.
Reading
OMG, so many things LOL.
I read a lot of books in February but here are 5 noteworthy ones with reviews.
I have about an hour left on the audiobook of Erasure by Percival Everett, It’s the book the movie American Fiction is based on. The audiobook is hilarious!
I started This Could Be Us By Kennedy Ryan. The book’s official release date is tomorrow and I am 53% of the way through and it is SO GOOD so far. Full review next week.
Loving
A few Target finds:
This cute Asymmetrical One Shoulder Top
and this cream one-piece swimsuit from there too. Plotting for summer vacation…
Watching
Scandal. My loctition discovered that Tubi had the entire show and had it on while I was getting my locs retwisted. It reminded me of how good a show it is and now I must binge-watch starting today.
Also..Shogun on Hulu is excellent.
Thinking about
As someone who is actively trying to lose some pounds, this article that asks Do plus-size influencers owe their followers an explanation when their bodies change? (this is a gifted article) made me think.
Do influencers ( fat or otherwise) OWE their followers?
Do we owe our followers when we decide to pivot?
When we decide to divorce or go on vacation or when a child is sick or when one decides to take Ozempic…Do we OWE our followers an explanation?
What do you think?
Well, that’s not everything, but that’s all I’ve got this week.
Talk soon

I don’t think influencers owe there audience anything. I do understand the it depends perspective though. I recently rewatched/binged Scandal. I was very sad when it was over.
I just borrowed Erasure from my library’s audio app.
